A University of Coimbra Portugal, directed by Rodrigo Cunha has revealed the effect of caffeine to overcome and prevent chronic stress, protecting us from depression.

The study published in the journal "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences", says depression fade significantly with getting caffeine. The researchers observed changes in synapses that connect neurons and structures among them, as varied before and after drinking caffeine.

The experiment was conducted in a group of rats, where it was found that after drinking caffeine was stronger memory and significantly diminish anxiety condition.
