Jasper Cillessen admitted that when he heard about the interest of Barcelona for his transfer from Ajax Amsterdam, he thought it was a joke.
Dutch goalkeeper signed with the Catalan giants last week replacing Claudio Bravo who joined Manchester City.
And, as he prepares to start his new adventure at Camp Nou, Cillessen admitted that was surprised when he heard about the interest from La Liga champion.
"When my manager told me about the interest from Barcelona, I thought it was a joke," said Cillessen for "Barca TV."
"I think that the best club in the world was interested in me," he said.
